Students and staff are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results. 168 students sat up to 10 GCSE exams with James Ambrose achieving 8 Grade 9s.
James said, “I’m very pleased with my results.” He is looking forward to studying Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
Oliver Downes achieved 4 Grade 9s and 4 Grade 8s. Oliver said, “I’m delighted with the results and also send my wishes to everyone else in our year group. I’m looking forward to studying A Levels at Thomas Mills.”
Georgia Ingold, Head of Year said, “I am so proud of the cohort. Their results are testament to their hard work and dedication. There are some exceptional grades at the top but also some equally commendable personal achievements across the board.”
77% of all grades were 4+ or higher, 55% of all grades were 5+ or higher.
74% of students achieved grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics.
