Thomas Mills High School & Sixth Form Headteacher, Philip Hurst, has been speaking to the media about the importance of Sixth Form education provision across Suffolk.
It comes after Felixstowe School announced it is pausing new admissions into Year 12 due to “concerns about the long-term financial sustainability of the provision.” The school says it will keep the position under review. This follows a previous announcement from Bungay High School that it is proposing to close its Sixth Form altogether.
