TMHS Alumni – Robin Hutchinson

Hello. I hope this finds you all well.

It was great fun to come back for the School play last year and see what is occurring at Thomas Mills.
I have now set off on our charity bike ride in Africa, but spoke to Mr Cann before I left about keeping you all up to date on the trip.
Things are going well so far, I believe that you have been teaching about the suffragette movement and coincidentally we were hosted in Ethiopia by the great grand son of Emmeline Pankhurst Alula, in a house gifted to her daughter by King Haile Selassie for her help with the anti Italian colonial movement. A very nice family with a rich history.
We are now in Tanzania having passed through Kenya and Uganda.
Any support would be greatly appreciated as we are nearing our fundraising target and it would be great to continue raising money past our goal!
I hope you are all well and I wish you the best for the New Year.
Regards Robin.
