It was amazing to see some of our pupils from Thomas Mills High School & Sixth Form getting involved in local politics at the first ever ‘Model District Council’.
Led by the Chair of the Council, Anthony Speca, pupils participated in a full day of Council business, with the aim to draft and agree a motion that the real East Suffolk Council can take forward!
First up, pupils enjoyed an inspirational introduction from Rhammel Afflick BEM – the Head of Advocacy and Communications for the British Youth Council.
