Interactive Science Workshop

Former student from Thomas Mills High School & Sixth Form, Lily Hunter-Green was back today working with selected yr8 pupils. This follows a successful meeting Lily had with the Maori Lab (Department of Biochemistry, Cambridge University) who were very grateful for the Thomas Mills pupils’ input and strategies from the first session. They are currently comparing known strategies in human and social insect behaviour in social immunity. The results from our workshop are being used in the lab. Lily will be back after Easter for a final session where pupils will have the chance to use wearable technology and see how their input has helped to develop The Game.
