The Mills Grammar School Association Reunion

Members of The Mills Grammar School Association met  in the school library on 7th September for their summer reunion. They enjoyed a browse through the extensive grammar school archives, visited the Ellen Fisher garden, which is modelled on The Walnut Tree Lawn at the old grammar school site in Fairfield Road, and had an opportunity to reminisce about their school days. The association is open to all staff and pupils of the grammar school, which existed from 1902-1979. Some of the former pupils, now in their 90s and 80s still talk very fondly of their time at school.
