Over the weekend, 57 Year 9 students from Thomas Mills High School & Sixth Form embarked on their first practice expedition for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award. Navigating through the picturesque Suffolk countryside towards Debenham, they demonstrated both teamwork and resilience. Impressively, one group even prepared a delicious red pepper frittata using their camp stove! Lots of staff volunteered to walk alongside the pupils and a fantastic time was had by all.
We will be hosting a series of Open Mornings from 21st to 25th September, starting at 9:30 AM each day as well as our annual Open Evening on Thursday, 24th September, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
If you would like to attend an Open Morning, please get in touch as soon as possible via email at inmail@thomasmills.suffolk.sch.uk. This will help us to manage visitor numbers on specific days. There is no need to register in advance for the Open Evening and of course you are welcome to attend both events.
