We are very privileged at Thomas Mills High School & Sixth Form to have such talented students and staff. Recently, we put on an upper school production of Shrek! There were three incredible performances and each performance was accompanied by a live pit band of pupils. We are incredibly proud to be able to offer such a fantastic opportunity to our students.
“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” Thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek.
This award-winning musical is based on the much-loved 2001 Oscar-winning Dreamworks animated film.
At Thomas Mills High School & Sixth Form, we are fortunate to have an exceptionally talented community of students and staff. This was on full display during our recent upper school production of Shrek: The Musical! Over three unforgettable performances, audiences were treated to a spectacular show brought to life by our students, including a live pit band composed of our pupils.

From a short-tempered villain to a sassy Gingerbread Man, the stage was brimming with colorful characters and comedic chaos. Yet, in the heart of the chaos, Shrek proves that true heroism comes in unexpected forms.
