Food and Farming Fun!

On Wednesday June 19th, Mrs. Bull and Mr. Farthing took some of our Year 9 pupils to Hollow Trees Farm for a Food and Farming Student Day. We participated in workshops on farm retail, marketing, the future of farming, livestock, field-to-fork processes, cereals, machinery, environmental practices, and careers in farming. We also enjoyed a homemade local lunch in the sunshine! It was a brilliant, informative day that exposed us to the wide range of career opportunities available in this sector. A big thank you to all involved.

If you are interested in learning more about a future career in farming, please speak to Mrs. Bull.
