We are delighted to offer our pupils numerous opportunities to explore different career paths at Thomas Mills High School & Sixth Form. Recently, several of our Year 10 pupils attended taster sessions at Suffolk New College On the Coast in Halesworth. They experienced aspects of construction trades, hair and beauty, games art and design, and motor vehicles. It’s fantastic to see them applying their practical skills and discovering the many exciting options available to them.
Last month, our Year 12 sixth form students attended a degree apprenticeship talk. We are very grateful to Helen Clements from Morgan Sindall, a construction company offering degree apprenticeships, for visiting our school. Morgan Sindall provides site-based roles in site or project management, quantity surveying, and design management. Additionally, they offer career opportunities in HR, marketing, finance, procurement, and business development, roles not always associated with the construction industry.
