ArtEast Exhibition in Framsden Hall Barn

We were thrilled that many of our art students from Thomas Mills High School & Sixth Form recently participated in the ArtEast exhibition at Framsden Hall Barn in Suffolk earlier this term. Five to six other schools also showcased their work alongside several renowned artists. As you can see, the exhibition featured a variety of fantastic artwork, and both Ben in Year 9 and Harry in Year 13 received high commendations for their submissions. It was a fabulous event, with prizes awarded by the High Sheriff of Suffolk.

The Art Department is a vibrant and creative space, boasting 90 students enrolled in GCSE Art and over 80 students pursuing A Level Art and Photography. The arts are highly valued at our school, supported by four specialist, multi-disciplined teachers. This commitment allows our school to stand out as a beacon of excellence in provision, resources, and results. We believe the arts are essential to a broad and balanced education, as well as being a fundamental part of life.
